Toe orthotics and orthoplasty

The treatment that improves your mobility and comfort

Toe orthotics or orthoplasty is a procedure used to treat a variety of foot problems including bunions, hammertoes and claw toes. It involves reshaping the toe bones and realigning the joints to reduce pain and improve mobility.

In some cases, it can also be used to correct deformities caused by injury or disease. This procedure can be performed on both feet or on one foot, depending on the severity of the condition. Toe orthotics or orthoplasty can be the solution to correct toes, treat corns and partridge eye. Treatment may include physical therapy, orthotics or surgery. The goal of treatment is to reduce pain, improve function and restore the patient's ability to walk and perform normal daily activities. Understand the need for toe orthotics or orthoplasty in order to lead a healthier and more comfortable life.

To better understand the treatment :

Orthoplasty, or toe orthosis is removable, made from a cast on one or more toes. It is intended to be placed on the toe to relieve friction. The purpose is to correct a deformity of the toes, to relieve painful conflicts or to treat recurrent corns on the toes.

If the joint is not ankylosed, a corrective orthoplasty can be considered. While protective orthotics, produced from materials that retain their flexibility, are designed to relieve conflicts, corns and partridge eye. They are comfortable and aim at a better comfort in the painful areas.

Corrective or protective, the toe orthosis reduces pain and increases comfort to relieve you in your daily life.
